Played for Shenyang Football Club, served as captain of the Shenyang Sea Lions, and played for Shenyang Golden Gate FC in 2001.
Taught at Shenyang Jianzhu University, leading the student team to three consecutive Shenyang University League championships.
Coached the 1987 youth team at Shenyang Golden Gate FC, achieving great success. Later served as head coach, leading the team to 5th place in the 2004 Chinese Super League.
